JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT CLINIC
The Junior Development Squad was an initiative that was started in the last few years after recognising the importance of nurturing our younger riders to move up through the ranks. We hold approx 2-3 clinics during the year and groups are split by age ranges breaking the teen riders off whilst still allowing for the younger riders to be grouped together still.
The purpose of the Junior Development Squad is to encourage, teach and assist our show riders to strive to continually improve their riding, horsemanship and sportsmanship. There is a focus on knowing how to do certain things with your horse... e.g. getting your own horse ready, plaiting up, cleaning bridles, etc. The clinic aims to help riders to develop a good all round attitude and approach to riding and showing, as well as the skills to grow and improve in the competition arena.
